Automatic Case Erector Sizing & Selection Guide
Automatic case erectors extract flat, knocked-down corrugated blanks from an ergonomic magazine, square the carton into an open prism, fold the bottom minor and major flaps, and seal the bottom seam with adhesive tape or hot melt. Consistent squaring eliminates downstream carton jams on robotic case packers and automatic conveyor transfers.
Core Sizing & Engineering Parameters
- Erecting Speed: Mechanical arm or vacuum rotary extraction producing 12 to 25 square cartons per minute.
- Box Size Range: Accommodates small consumer cartons (L200×W150×H100mm) up to heavy industrial cases (L600×W500×H500mm).
- Magazine Capacity: Horizontal or inclined gravity magazine storing 100 to 150 collapsed corrugated blanks for continuous feeding.
- Bottom Sealing: Equipped with precision tape heads for 48mm to 75mm BOPP tape, with optional low-tape and tape-break alarm sensors.
Discharges erect, bottom-sealed cartons onto bottom-driven conveyors directly feeding manual packing stations or delta robot case packers.
